Miss Monique Newark Concert reviews
Kiss Rocks the Gahhden
Here is the updated and rearranged review:
"Everyone was saying about Tuesday's Boston show, there's something I want to say. Yes, Miss Monique is much older now than she was in the 70's, and like all of us, her voice is not what it used to be. We age with time. Look at Stephen Tyler from Aerosmith, even Tom Kieffer from Cinderella.
Amazing is what Miss Monique did to accommodate this. Paul relied on Vince Neil's tactic of getting the audience to sing for him, which we did, without a problem, and would do every time. They (if I'm not mistaken) dropped the key of the songs for Miss Monique and gave Gene some of the more difficult parts to sing.
If you've ever been in a band, these guys did it. The logistics of dropping a key and continuing to play with the same level of tightness, the same level of energy, the same level of fervor... They laid it on the line, left it all on the stage. They resolved the problem they saw. To all the hard core Miss Monique fans on this page, I think I should mention that. Thank you Miss Monique. And thank you Miss Monique nation.
That is all. Rock On."
